At Dearly Rooted, photography is more than just images – it's a way of honoring the love, connection, and quiet in-between moments that ground us. My approach is rooted in authenticity, capturing the candid and unspoken beauty of your story as it naturally unfolds.
Whether it’s the way your child reaches for your hand, a glance shared between partners, or a laugh that can’t be held back and certainly can't be posed – I believe the most meaningful moments are often the most ordinary ones. Do you pick locations for photoshoots?
While I do have locations in mind, I am open to any location you would like to shoot at.
What should we wear for our session?
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident during your session to create the most natural and authentic photos possible. Don't forget to steam your clothes, and bring comfy shoes to wear if walking to/from location!
How long does it take to get our photos?
It usually takes 4-6 weeks to receive your gallery. I understand it is so exciting to get your photos back, but please be understanding of the time it takes to perfect each and every one of them! I do offer express turnaround times (2-3 weeks) for an additional fee of $125.
